Thrift: The Fuel of Magnificence

Thrift fashion is a great revenue!

“Style is the only thing you can’t buy. It’s not in a shopping bag, a label, or a price tag. It’s something reflected from our soul to the outside world—an emotion.”—Alber Elbaz

Money is really hard to earn nowadays, especially for people who doesn’t even have a job or a stable source of income that could provide the wants of one person. Not all people under the sun are born with gold spoon on their mouth and are wealthy enough to buy branded and exclusive products.

Many people are really into fashion that they’re willing to spend money on everything that is in trend. From the jeans, sneakers and tops; all clothing type from top to bottom. In this, we can say that fashion is really a big deal for many people in this generation.

Since fashion is really a big deal for some people in this generation, some judge us from the way we dress. Just because they have loads of money to provide their wants to buy branded clothes, some will judge those who can’t afford branded products and people who choose to buy class A items. Especially if we are wearing thrift clothes or second-hand ones. They criticize us for wearing a cheap and low-class type of clothing.

The way they dress in a certain way does not mean that’s how they are. For example, if someone is wearing designer clothing head to toe, that doesn’t necessarily mean they have money, or came from a rich background. If a person is wearing old and worn out clothing, that does not make them poor. They could totally have money, they just don’t spend it on clothes. You simply don’t know. Stereotyping is not good fashion, don’t wear it.

Well, we can’t stop some people from judging us the way we mix and match our outfits. Just because they have enough money to buy expensive clothes, some will judge us for we can’t provide enough money to buy branded products and for settling with class A items. Thrift clothes are not what people really think to be what they are. These clothes are not low quality ragged clothes like people often visualize. In fact, these clothes are affordable and has a friendly deal that can meet with our minimal budget.

The way we wear clothes does not depend on its prices but it is how you will nail your outfit. Even if it is not expensive and branded. By practicing being thrifty, we can learn on how to settle with things that are only enough with our budget. We can learn on how to be practical in our life. You don’t need to go and spend all of your savings just to be in trend if you can’t afford the price of expensive clothes.

It is really hard to earn money, that’s why it is alright to be practical in life. you don’t need to go and join the trend if you can’t sustain it. We must always keep in our mind that needs before wants. if you’re planning to buy expensive product, then think again. Why not but a cheaper one and put your change to your savings? Isn’t it a good foundation for your future? You’ll be able to use your money in the future on worth it things.
